Read your agreement and give the required written notice. Ask about a pre-move-out inspection if available, the cleaning standard, keys, and the address for deposit correspondence. Make a plan for bills and shared furniture too.
Remove all belongings, clean the room and your share of common areas, and photograph the finished condition. Keep records of repairs, messages, and move-in photos. Do not leave trash or items for roommates to solve.
