The minimalist's move to a shared room
Bring what the room cannot provide: clothes, work tools, documents, medications, bedding if needed, and a few personal objects. Confirm furniture and kitchen supplies before duplicating them.
Use bags, boxes, and containers you can carry yourself. A shared room has limited storage; every item should earn its place by being useful or genuinely meaningful.
Give yourself permission to acquire later. Living in the room for a month will show you what is missing. It will also show you what you were wise not to bring.
