How to change your address and set up utilities in SF
Ask the household which utilities are already active, whose name is on each account, what is included in rent, and how bills are divided. Do not start duplicate service because a listing mentioned utilities vaguely.
Update your address with the institutions that need it: employer, bank, insurer, health providers, government records where applicable, subscriptions, and delivery accounts. Arrange mail forwarding if it fits your situation.
