How to share a kitchen without chaos
Give each person defined fridge, freezer, pantry, and cabinet space. Label shelves if the household is large. The goal is not perfect order; it is knowing what is yours and where it belongs.
Agree on a few nonnegotiable habits: wash dishes promptly, wipe spills, do not leave food to spoil, and clear the sink before bed. Put the rules where everyone can see them.
Address friction early. A calm message about one pan or one shelf is easier than a house meeting after a month of resentment.
