The house group chat that keeps everyone in sync
Put useful notices in one house chat: repairs, guests, deliveries, shared supplies, cleaning, quiet requests, and move dates. Pin the basics—Wi-Fi, landlord contact, trash schedule, and house agreements—so no one must ask twice.
Write messages that make action clear. Say what happened, what you need, and by when. “The sink is leaking; I contacted the manager; please avoid using it tonight” is better than a string of worried texts.
Do not use the chat to ambush someone about a sensitive issue. Raise personal conflict privately first. A group chat is good for coordination, not public prosecution.
