What to pack for a furnished medium-term room
Ask what furnished means. It may cover a bed and desk, or it may include linens, cookware, storage, and a working lamp. Get a written inventory or photos before deciding what to bring.
Pack the things that make a room usable on day one: documents, medications, clothes for the weather, work equipment, chargers, toiletries, and a few familiar items. Bring bedding and kitchen basics only if they are not supplied or you strongly prefer your own.
Leave behind bulky purchases until you know the room works. A medium-term stay is easier when your exit fits in a few bags and a small carload.
