Finding roommates who love your dog as much as you do
Dog lovers are not automatically compatible roommates. Ask about their schedules, tolerance for barking and shedding, comfort with guests, experience with dogs, and expectation of access to the animal. Someone may adore dogs but need a quiet home.
Describe your dog honestly: age, size, energy, behavior around strangers and other animals, walking routine, and time alone. Share the unglamorous parts as plainly as the charming ones.
Choose people who respect that the dog is yours. The best fit enjoys the animal, follows the agreed rules, and does not assume affection comes with free pet care.
