Deep-clean day: making it fair and fast
Set a date, list the jobs, estimate time, and assign tasks by effort rather than by room. Include oven, fridge, baseboards, windows, bathrooms, floors, and any shared storage. Buy supplies beforehand.
Work in a short block with music, breaks, and an end time. If one person cannot attend, agree on a make-up task or contribution before the day.
Take photos only when needed for a move-out record. The goal is a cleaner home, not proof of who worked hardest.
