When to involve the lease-holder in a dispute
Try direct conversation for small, one-time household friction. Involve the lease-holder when rent is unpaid, occupancy changes, repeated guest problems, property damage, safety concerns, or a violation may affect the tenancy.
Bring facts: dates, messages, receipts, photos, and the specific agreement involved. Ask for a clear decision or next step, not a vague request to “fix” someone.
The lease-holder is not a judge for every personality clash. They are responsible for risks that reach the lease and home.
