Cheap live-work setups for painters and makers
Start with a folding table, task light, drop cloth, sealed storage, and a plan for cleanup. Use low-odor, low-dust materials when you share walls and ventilation. Keep a small kit that can pack away after each session.
Do not use a bedroom for work involving dangerous fumes, open flame, major dust, or heavy equipment unless the space is designed and permitted for it. A shared studio or maker space may be cheaper than a damaged lease.
The useful setup is portable, contained, and safe for everyone in the home.
