Questions women should ask before joining a house
Confirm rent, deposit, utilities, lease status, move-in date, and who is on the agreement. Then ask about bedroom and building locks, keys, guests, overnight visitors, parties, parking, mail, and how repairs are reported.
Ask what residents like about the home and what has caused friction. Notice whether answers are direct and whether the household’s rules match the condition of the common spaces.
Write down the answers after the tour. A room is only one part of the home you are choosing.
