How to host investors when you live in a shared house
Ask first whether a meeting at home is appropriate. Respect roommates’ privacy, schedules, and security. For most investor conversations, use an office, meeting room, quiet café, or video call instead.
If a home meeting is necessary, limit it to a defined time, use only agreed shared space, protect personal documents and screens, and leave the room cleaner than you found it. Do not give visitors access to bedrooms or treat roommates as part of the pitch.
Professionalism is making the meeting easy for everyone else.
