How to find a hacker house before your batch starts
Start with exact dates, budget, neighborhood range, sleep schedule, and whether you need a private room. Ask how many people live there, who is on the lease, whether the landlord permits the arrangement, and how work calls and guests are handled.
Meet the residents, tour the actual room, and test internet and noise at realistic hours. Ask what the house does when someone needs quiet, has an investor call, or wants visitors.
Use a written agreement. “Builders live here” is not a substitute for rent, lease, and safety facts.
