Setting up a phone-booth corner for a hacker house
Choose a corner away from bedrooms and shared pathways. Add a small shelf, light, power, soft surfaces, and a headset. Keep exits, windows, and ventilation clear; do not build an enclosed box that traps heat.
Create a booking or first-come rule for calls and set a reasonable time limit. Use a visible “in call” sign and clear the space after each session.
The booth should reduce disruption, not become another scarce room people fight over.
