How to stay productive in a busy shared house
Identify the two hours when you do your hardest work and reserve them for focused tasks. Use a visible signal, headphones, and a short to-do list. Put email, chores, and casual tasks around those blocks.
When the house is predictably busy, leave it: library, office, coworking space, or a quiet café. Do not make roommates responsible for your concentration every day.
Productivity improves when you plan for noise instead of being surprised by it.
