Turning a closet into a call booth

July 27, 2025

Use a closet only if it has enough ventilation, power safety, and room to leave easily. Do not block a breaker panel, access route, or required storage. Avoid heat-producing equipment in a sealed space.

Add a small shelf, light, headset, and soft surfaces to reduce echo. Keep calls short and take breaks outside the booth. A door sign can prevent interruption.

If the closet gets hot, stuffy, or uncomfortable, it is not a call booth. Find a better backup location.
