Building a home office in a shared apartment
Start with a stable work surface, adjustable chair or cushion, screen at a comfortable height, and a power plan that does not overload outlets. Put the desk where light and background work for calls without taking over a shared route.
Ask before using the living room or kitchen permanently. Define when you can leave work out and when the room returns to household use. Add storage so notebooks and equipment disappear after hours.
A good shared-apartment office is compact, safe, and easy to reset.
