The photos that make a sublet listing rent itself

October 7, 2025

Photograph the actual bedroom in daylight from each corner. Include the window, closet, desk area, bed, and any furniture that stays. Then show the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, entrance, and any shared outdoor space.

Use a normal phone camera, tidy the room, and avoid filters that change light, size, or condition. Do not reuse old photos after furniture or the layout changes. Caption any limitation: shared bath, street noise, stairs, compact closet, or no parking.

Good photos reduce wasted tours and help a subletter decide safely. They should clarify the home, not conceal its trade-offs.
